Man Critically Injured In Bear Attack In Central Kashmir
Ganderbal: A man was critically injured on Sunday after a wild bear attacked him in Kangan area of Ganderbal district in central Kashmir.
The injured man was identified as Nazir Ahmad Gojar (38) son of Abdul Rashid Gojar of Hayan, Palpora in Kangan.
An official said that Gojar was attack when he was grazing his cattle in the nearby Sindh range forest area.
He said that Nazir was rescued by locals and shifted to sub district hospital Kangan.
A health official at sub district hospital Kangan told Greater Kashmir that the injured person has received critical injuries.
He said that he has been referred to SKIMS hospital in Srinagar for plastic surgery.
