Man commits suicide by hanging himself in Sopore

Sopore: There seems no end of suicides in depressed Kashmir as one more person ended his life by taking an extreme step in north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Friday.

Reports reaching KD said a 42-year-old man (name withheld) committed suicide by hanging himself at his shop in Lalad area of north Kashmir’s Sopore town on Friday evening.

The family members after spoted him lying on ground rushed him to Sub District Hospital Sopore.

A doctor at Sopore hospital confirmed this Incident to this newspaper, said he was declared brought dead on arrival.

The reason for the suicide was not immediately known. Meanwhile, police has registered a case and taken up investigations. (KD)
