Man arrested for employing non-local labourers without screening in Tral
Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday lodged a case against a man for employing non-local labourers in south Kashmir’s Tral area of police district Awantipora.
Under specific information that a person namely Arshad Hussain Dar s/o Ghulam Ahmad Dar of Hardmir village of Tral is employing 31 labourers at a construction site.
The man as per police had transported labourers into valley without screening or medical formalities.
The police party led by SDPO Tral Dr. Aejaz Malik along with SHO swung into action and carried a raid at the site. A few labourers police said also complained of chest infections and fever
The man was subsequently booked and arrested under FIR no 21 PS Tral US 188 for violating 144 crpc section and disaster management act.
