Man Arrested For Attempting To Murder His Son In Srinagar: Police
SRINAGAR (KIMS) — A man has been arrested for attempting to murder is son in Sonwar area of Srinagar, Police said on Wednesday.
Police said, A man had an argument with his son after which he stabbed him in order to murder him.
The victim (son) is undergoing treatment in hospital and his condition is stated to be stable, they said.
The accused father has been identified as Mehmood Ahmad Wani, Son of Nazir wani, a resident of Sonwar Srinagar, they said.
The weapon of offence was also recovered from the accused, they said.
In this regard, a FIR No. 121/2023 U/S 307 of IPC has been registered in Ram Munshi Bagh Police Station and further investigation has been taken up. — (KIMS)
