Majid Hyderi arrested in Srinagar on court orders: Police
Srinagar, Sep 15: Freelance journalist Majid Hyderi has been arrested by a team of Srinagar police on Friday morning, police said in X, formerly known as tweeter.
As per Police, Hyderi has been arrested on court.
Hyderi is a resident of Peerbagh who also appears in various Tv debates.
“FIR No 88/2023 U/S 120-B, 177,386,500 of IPC registered in Sadder PS on basis of order issued by Hon’ble court of JMIC Srinagar. One Majid Hyderi S/o Jahangir Hyderi R/o Peerbagh arrested for criminal conspiracy, intimidation, extortion, giving false information, defamation etc.”
Police said that investigation in the case has been taken up and will be taken to its logical conclusion.
