Lockdown: Former Sarpanch among 35 arrested for attacking Police party in Poonch

Poonch: Former Sarpanch among 35 were booked after they attacked police party amid lockdown in Mandi village of Poonch district.

SHO Mandi Talik Raj told GNS that some people including former Sarpanch violated the lockdown and when police party arrived to the spot, the former Sarpanch and some people attacked them resulting injuries to two cops.

All of them have been booked under relevant section of law and investigation has been further taken up, the officer added.
