Load Carrier Turns Turtle In Poonch; 2 Persons Injured, Ox Dead

Poonch, Jul 11  Two persons were injured when a load carrier they were travelling in, and laden with oxen pair, turned turtle along Peer Ki Gali road in Poonch district on Sunday afternoon.

Reports  said that the vehicle – Tata Mobile – bearing registration number JK12-5174 met with an accident in Ramlutha village, resulting in injuries to two persons. An ox died instantly even as another was also wounded in the incident.

The two injured persons identified as Manzoor Husain (55) son of Faquir Mohammad and Mazar Khan (25) son of Mohammad Khadam, both residents of Nakha Panjh Ghara were immediately evacuated to Army hospital by the troops of BG Brigade for first aid treatment, from where they were taken to PHC Dhargloon.

The duo was referred to GMC RajourI, and as learnt from hospital officials, their condition is stable. (GNS)
