LG Sinha inaugurates 930-flat type transit accommodations for Migrant KP employees in Srinagar
Says, elaborate security arrangements in place for Bharat Jodo Yatra in J&K
Srinagar, Jan 20 : Lieutenant Governor J&K, Manoj Sinha on Friday inaugurated 930-flat type transit accommodations for migrant KP employees in Zewan area of central Kashmir’s Srinagar district.
Speaking at the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha as per KNS said, “We have inaugurated a 930 flat-type transit accommodation for the migrant KPs whose majority is working under Prime Ministers Rehabilitation Package (PMRP) and are from Srinagar,”. The LG said besides there are many similar projects underway which were taken up for the purpose of rehabilitating KPs.
He held that the security concerns and other well being measures of KPs have also been taken care of.
On ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra, the LG Sinha said the J&K government has put in place elaborate security arrangements for the Bharat Jodo Yatra and the yatra will be facilitated smoothly. “All security measures are in place and the administration will facilitate the conduct of BJY smoothly. Whatever security measures were needed have been taken,” LG said.
The LG reiterated that those who misused powers to grab state land will face action and that the poor and common masses need not afraid of the ongoing drive. “I want to assure the poor and common man that they won’t be touched and that they shouldn’t be afraid. However those misused power and grabbed state land will not be spared”, he said. (KNS)
