LAWDA continues demolition drive against illegal constructions

The demolition drive was launched within the jurisdiction of LDA by the Lakes and Waterways Development Authority from through its Enforcement Wing under the supervision of Enforcement Officer in the area of Chandpora Harwan, Lashkari Mohalla NFR, Teilbal, Saida Kadal, Mianshah Saheb Rainawari & Bagh-i-Roop Singh Nowpora. During the demolition drive four single storeys & three plinths shuttering, which were raised illegally were demolished / removed onspot.

Moreover, a spontaneous night naka drive is going on against the tippers/vehicles for carrying illegal construction material in which tippers / illegal material has been seized by this wing and FIR lodged, the same would be continued in the future as well.

 In this regard, all the public residing within the LDA jurisdiction & inlake are hereby once again directed not to go for any sort of illegal constructions / encroachments, as the Enforcement wing will continue with demolition of illegal constructions/ removal of encroachments. Moreover the Tipper/Load carried owners are directed not carry / ferry any construction material in the prohibited area of Dal/ Nigeen Lake without getting permission and in case anybody found shall be dealt as per law.
