KVIB organises awareness programme at ITI Samba
SAMBA, FEBRUARY 21: Khadi & Village Industries Board (KVIB) today organised a one day awareness camp on Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) and Jammu & Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) at ITl Samba.
Among others, Superintendent lTl S. Amarjeet Singh, Representative of R-Sett Samba, Representative of AD Employment Samba, Representative of SC/ST Corporation Samba, and a large number of aspirant entrepreneurs and educated unemployed youth attended the programme.
District officer KVIB Samba informed the gathering that Self Employment Schemes like PMEGP & JKREGP are the best alternative in the current scenario to get employment and generate sustainable source of income. He further appealed potential students to get maximum benefit under these Schemes.
Speaking on the Occasion Representatives of different departments aware the gathering regarding processing of applications under different Schemes at different level Besides, Representative of RSETI informed the public regarding trainings imparted by their Institute to desirous candidates under various crafts, free of cost.
