Says circumstances under attack took place being investigated
Srinagar, Feb 26 : Deputy Inspector General of Police South Kashmir, Rayees Mohammad Bhat on Sunday said that the circumstances under which Bank Security guard belonging to the Kashmiri Pandit community was killed by the Militants in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district are being investigated.
After visiting the spot where the incident took place, the DIG while talking to reporters said that the bank security guard identified as Sanjay Sharma was shot dead by the militants at the Achan area of Litter village. The militants involved in the act will be neutralised very soon, he said.
He further said that the security forces will never allow the nefarious plans of the militants to succeed
DIG said that there were security arrangements at the place where the incident took place. “However, the circumstances under which the incident took place is part of the investigation which is underway,” he added.(KNS).
