Kishtwar administration braces up for hosting 4 day trekking expedition to Paddar

KISHTWAR, SEPTEMBER 18: Additional District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Sham Lal today chaired a meeting to finalise the arrangements ahead of the 4 day trekking expedition to far off tourist places of Sub division Paddar being organised by Department of tourism.
The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishori Lal Sharma; Chief Executive Officer, Kishtwar Development Authority, Inderjeet Singh Parihar; SDPO Paddar, Pardeep Kumar Sen; Accounts officer KDA Daleep Rathore; Executive Engineer PWD Ramesh Jamwal, besides other concerned officers and officials.
The CEO, KDA informed the meeting about the schedule and modalities chalked out for the conduct of the 4 day long trekking Camp.
He briefed that the trekking contingent comprising 20-30 persons would leave from Kishtwar on October 8, 2021 for Gulabgarh and then proceed onward to village Ishtiyari, Gandhari and after passing through Batwas , the will trekkers would continue for Chandi Padar from where they would return back to Kishtwar on October 11, 2021.
During these four days the trekkers will experience mesmerising natural beauty and the intermingle with the experience of the cultures of highland-dwelling Paddaries besides rejoicing the mystic and spiritual aura of trans- Himalayan mountains which are more than just physically stupendous.
District administration has thrown open the registration for all the interested physically fit persons of 18-55 yrs age. It is expected that the travel journalists and the bloggers will also register for this expedition.
