Kashmiri Social Activist Peer Tehleel receives 2nd time Record of Achievement from WHO

Srinagar: Peer Tehleel Manzoor who is a Social and Human Rights Activist from Kashmir, Srinagar District receives second time Award from World Health Organisation which is a specialised agency of the United Nations responsible for international public health.

Peer Tehleel Manzoor received Record of Achievement for communicating effectively during disease outbreaks and health emergencies (Communication Essentials for Member States).

Earlier Peer Tehleel Manzoor received Record of Achievement for (Operational Planning Guidelines and Scaling upcountry preparedness and response to COVID-19).

Peer Tehleel has also been in news in recent days for his work in coordinating and mobilising support work in fighting the Covid-19, especially his work in helping hundreds of people who were stranded in different districts in Punjab.
