Kashmir Shuts On International Human Rights Day
Srinagar: Normal life was crippled on Monday as Kashmir valley observed complete shutdown against the Human Rights violations in the state.
The shutdown call was given by JRL (Joint Resistance Leadership) comprising of Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mohammad Yasin Malik and Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on International Human Rights Day December 10 against the human rights violations in Kashmir valley.
JRL (Joint Resistance Leadership) had also asked people to observe December 10 which is globally celebrated as International Human Rights Day as ‘black day’.
All shops, schools, business establishments etc. remain closed in the valley and traffic movement was also not visible on roads.
