JRL Calls For Complete Shutdown On 20 June
Srinagar, Jun 19: Joint Resistance Leadership comprising of Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mohammad Yasin Malik & Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has called for a complete strike on Tuesday (20th June, 2018) against the continued civilian killings in the Kashmir valley.
The civilian killings witnessed a sudden spike since the eve of Eid as three young boys have been brutally gunned down by the government forces while the forth is struggling for life at SKIMS, Soura.
The CASO has returned with a vengeance to the villages as people are being severely beaten and harassed and used as human shields.
The strike will also be observed against the brutal killing of veteran journalist Shujaat Bukhari. JRL demands an international probe into this gruesome murder.
