JKTJAC Held An Oath Taking Ceremony of Newly Elected Representatives
Saleem Sagar Sworn In as Chairman, Vinod Sharma as President, Najam Jafri As General Secretary JKTJAC
Srinagar, September 12: A grand function for oath taking ceremony of elected representatives of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) was held today at Mannat Resort Srinagar. Mr Saleem Sagar was swarn in as Chairman, Mr Vinod Sharma was swarn in as President Mr Najam was sworn as General Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee. All the elected representatives took oath individually, the oath was administered by election commission of JKTJAC. The elected leaders pledged to bear the faith and allegiance to the Constitution of JKTJAC and to service for the due aspirations of teachers.
Chairman EJAC Mr Mohammed Rafiq Rather graced the occasion with his presence as the chief guest of the function. While congratulating the newly elected representatives of JKTJAC, EJAC president president suggested them that they have to work for selflessly and steadfastly for the welfare of teachers as a whole. “This is because of unity among the different teachers unions that till date we have together faced various challenges and succeed at every front, so need of the hour is to maintain this unity among different forums for the benefit of common teachers”, said the EJAC chairman Mohammed Rafiq Rather.
During the oath ceremony all the three leaders of Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Joint Action Committee (JKTJAC) who were sworn in, affirmed that they will try to the best of their ability to defend the legitimate rights of teachers and will uphold the dignity and honour of teachers without any discrimination with respect to cadres. However they asserted that their prime focus would remain the work culture of teachers to prioritise and improve the quality education in school education deportment. They also said that rights and duties are the two faces of a same coin, so they will work for the due rights of teachers at the same time teachers have to perform their duties well.
On the occasion the executive members of JKTJAC greeted the elected representatives and presented garlands of flowers to them. While greeting the elected representatives, district president Kupwara Peer Mushtaq also applauded the the role of Ex-Chairman JKTJAC for his selfless service and contribution and thanked him also. In response the elected members also extended gratitude to the all the members of JKTJAC from zonal level to UT level for their all time support and contribution to the organization for the good cause.
