JKSSRB Class IV examination passes smoothly across Kashmir
SRINAGAR: The JKSSB Class-IV examination scheduled for today passed smoothly across Kashmir. The concerned district administrations had made adequate arrangements for holding the examination in transparent manner at all the established centres.
The examination will continue on Feb 28 and March 1, 2021 also.
Apart from appointing nodal officers, observers and magistrates, necessary training was imparted to the examination staff. The senior officers of district administrations visited the examination centres and took on the spot stock of the examination process there.
At Budgam: The Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Budgam, who is also the Nodal Officer for conduct of Class IV Examination by JKSSB today, visited many examination centers across the district.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADC said that the examination at all established centers was conducted successfully. He said that every effort has been made to ensure examination is conducted in a free and transparent manner.
He said arrangements were efficiently put in place and pro actively executed to ensure that candidates shall not face any kind of inconvenience. He said similar arrangements will follow for all remaining phases of examination.
The ADC during the inspection was accompanied by Observer SSRB Examination, Hilal Ahmad, DIO Budgam Tajamul Yousuf, DEPO Budgam, Syed Gulzar Ahmad and other concerned officers and officials.
At Ganderbal: To take firsthand appraisal of the facilities made available for aspirants appearing in Class IV exams, Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shafqat Iqbal today inspected various examination centers setup across the district.
As many as six centers for 2705 students were set up within the district among which 2314 appeared in the examination.
The DC on the occasion enquired about the facilities made available for the aspirants like seating, cleanliness, drinking water, lighting and inspected the arrangements regarding COVID-19 like availability of hand sanitizers, masks and maintenance of social distance in examination halls.
The DC directed the concerned officers to ensure availability of all basic amenities to the candidates. He also directed them to ensure conduct of examination in a fair and transparent manner.
Meanwhile, Magistrates and videographers were deployed at all the examination centers besides district police had also put in place all necessary security arrangements for smooth conduct of examination.
At Pulwama: The JKSSB examinations for the class IV posts went off smoothly today here at Pulwama.
The district administration had put up adequate arrangements at all the 11 centers to ensure that the exams are conducted smoothly in a fair and transparent manner.
The examination staff was properly trained beforehand to minimize any undue issues for the candidates.
Earlier, the examination material was dispatched smoothly and safely to all the concerned centres from District Strong Room under the supervision of Deputy Secretary, Law Suhail Muzzafar & ADC Pulwama Altaf Ahmad.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner Pulwama, Dr Raghav Langer also visited many examination centres and inquired about the arrangements made thereof.
The candidates expressed their satisfaction about the appropriate arrangements and praised the efforts of SSRB and District Administration in this regard.
At Kupwara: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Imam Din today inspected various centres established for JKSSB Class IV examination in the district.
ADC Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone who is also the Observer of the examination and other concerned officers accompanied the DC on the occasion.
During the visit, the DC inspected various examination centres including Government Degree College Bohipora, GHSS Salkote and BHSS Kupwara and took stock of arrangements made for smooth conduct of the examination.
Expressing his satisfaction over the arrangements, the DC directed the Centre Observers, Magistrates and Superintendents to ensure better coordination for fair and smooth conduct of the examination in the district.
Earlier this week, the District Administration had put in place adequate arrangements including deployment of Observers and Magistrates at all 16 centres in the district for smooth conduct of the JKSSB Class IV examination.
