JKSPAM Founding Members Laila Qureshi and Manjot Kohli Resign Over Ideological Differences
Srinagar, October 1: Two founding members of Jammu and Kashmir Socio-Political Activist Movement resign from the forum in a press statement issued on Thursday.
Laila Qureshi and Manjot Singh Kohli resigned from the sociopolitical forum citing ideological differences and shift in agenda has prompted them to quit the group.
Laila Qureshi said that various important matters within the group were not handled as per the initial discussions and the failure to settle the differences led to her resignation.
Manjot Kohli said “Such ideological differences are always there, and I chose to disaffiliate myself from the forum as I couldn’t personally accommodate with their ideology.”
The press statement further read, the general public is requested to note that Laila Qureshi and Manjot Singh Kohli are no longer affiliated with Jammu and Kashmir Socio-Political Activist Movement.
