JKPSC, JKSSB Need Overhauling to Rebuild Trust of Aspirants : Dr Shazad
JKBADC Demands Accountability, Transparency in JKPSC, JKSSB
Jammu, 27/July/2022: Jammu and Kashmir Border Area Development Conference(JKBADC), a registered organization working for the welfare of residents of border areas has urged the government of India and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha for overhauling of recruitments panel of J & K to restore trust of the aspiring youth.
Dr Shazad Ahmed Malik, former Vice Chancellor of Sai Nath University and Chairman of JKBADC in a press statement has said that today J & K Public Service Commission and J & K Services Selection Board have lost the trust of the educated job aspiring youth of J & K.
The BADC Chairman said that recently several delegations of local youth met him in Poonch and Jammu and have complained lack of transparency and accountability in JKPSC and JKSSB. Dr Shazad stated that the delegation of youth have informed him that neither JKPSC nor JKSSB follow the exam calendar and time schedule for completing the recruitment process. He said JKPSC is responsible for selection of all gazetted posts in different departments and JKSSB is assigned the task of selection of all non gazette posts in J & K. The BADC chairman demanded that both JKSSB and JKPSC should be fair to all aspirants and must also be seen doing so impartially. He also called for strengthening internal vigilance mechanisms in both these recruitment panels to avoid allegations against these panels
