JKAACL organises Multi Lingual Mushaira in Bar Hall Munsif Court, Mendhar, Poonch

POONCH, Novembe 06: Jammu & Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Rajouri/ Poonch today organised a Multi Lingual Mushaira here in Bar Hall Munsif Court Mendhar, Poonch to mark the Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav celebration.
The event was hosted under the guidance of Secretary JKAACL, Rahul Panday and closely monitored by Additional Secretary JKAACL, Sanjeev Rana.
Hundreds of locals,Advocates, and Media fraternity witnessed and enjoyed the event held with due adherence to Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
The Mushaira was presided over Imtiaz Naseem Hashmi Principal Govt Hr Secondary School Salwa, Cultural Academy best Book Awardee and the proceedings was conducted by Mr Mehmood Tahir a renowned Pahari poet.
The Mushaira was conducted with the support of President Bar Association Mendhar, Advocate Sardar Javaid Khan.
The poets who recites their latest and unpublished poetry includes Sh. Mehmood Tahir, Sb. Mohammad Hussain Faqir, Sardar Javaid Khan, Imtiyaz Naseem Hashmi, Faqir Mohammad, Master Qurban Shah, Mr Azmat Jafri, Saleem Javaid Qureshi, Advocate Basharat Khan, Mtr. Zahida Khanum,
In his welcome address, Dr. Alamdar Adam, Special officer for cultural Activities Rajouri-Poonch, expressed gratitude to President Bar Association Mendhar, District Poonch for allowing poets for performance. He also interacted with the Advocates, locals and poets and thrown the light on about the importance of languages,folk lores ,folk song, folk paintings, he also stressed upon the participation of youth in these activities.
President Bar Association Mendhar Advocate Sardar Javaid Khan presented vote of thanks and appreciated the Cultural Academy Rajouri ,Secretary JKAACL and Additional Secretary JKAACL for organising the event for locals of Mendhar and Advocates
At the end CD ….DILA NAA JAANI…,of PAHARI Songs written by Advocate Basharat Khan sung by Sartaj Khan a young Singer of Peer Punjal Region released by Cultural officer JKAACL alongwith all prominent poets and Advocates.
