J&K to observe corona curfew from tonight till Monday morning: LG Manoj Sinha

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Administration on Saturday announced complete corona curfew across Union Territory from tonight (24th April) 08:00 pm till Monday 06:00 am.

However essential and emergency services shall be allowed. Further all market, commercial institutions will remain closed.

The decision has been taken in view of sharp rise in Covid-19 cases in the Union Territory with Srinagar leading the table.

Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory Manoj Sinha in a tweet said, “Complete corona curfew to be observed in the Union Territory from 8PM, 24th April (Saturday) till 6AM, April 26 (Monday)”.

“Essential and emergency services to be allowed. All market, commercial institutions will remain closed,” it added. (KIMS)
