J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau Observes Vigilance Awareness Week 2025: “Vigilance – Our Shared Responsibility”
Srinagar, Oct 25 (ANN News):
The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir is observing Vigilance Awareness Week 2025 from October 27 to November 2, in line with the nationwide campaign led by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC).
The theme for this year’s observance is “Vigilance: Our Shared Responsibility” (सतर्कता: हमारी साझा जिम्मेदारी), emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in promoting integrity, transparency, and accountability in public life.
Vigilance Awareness Week is observed annually around the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel (October 31st) to honor his vision of a transparent and corruption-free nation. The week-long campaign includes various public outreach programs, awareness drives, and organizational activities aimed at fostering ethical governance and combating corruption at all levels.
The J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau will hold several events across the Union Territory to engage the public, encourage citizen participation, and strengthen the commitment towards a corruption-free society.
Citizens are encouraged to actively participate and report any corruption-related issues through ACB’s official website https://acb.jk.gov.in or via the Satark Nagrik mobile app.
For vigilance-related queries, people can also contact the ACB on toll-free number 1800-180-7152 or WhatsApp 9419678060.
