JEM module busted in Budgam, three arrested

Srinagar: Police in a statement said that acting on a specific input Budgam police, Army’s 50 RR and 29 BN CRPF arrested 3 militant associates during naka checking at Chadoora area in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

The militant associates have been identified as 1). Javaid Ahmad Bhat, S/o Mohd Ismail, R/o Pulwama 2). Ajaz Wani, S/o Rehman Wani, R/o Chitroo Dangerpora 3). Aqib Ganaie, S/o Zahoor Ahmad, R/o Khansaib

The following incriminating material including 40 Rounds of AK 47, 02 Detonators and 03 JeM matrix sheets has been recovered from their possession.

This group was involved in providing logistic support and shelter to active militants of banned organsiation JEM.

In this regard case FIR no 120/2020 under relevant sections of UAPA has been registered in PS Chadoora, and investigation taken up.
