JCO killed, two injured as Army vehicle turns turtle in Mendhar

Mendhar, Apr 13 : An Army’s Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) was killed while two other Army personnel were injured in a road accident at Balnoi area of Mendhar Sub Division of Poonch district.

As per official reports, the accident took place on Wednesday evening when an Army truck was moving along the Line of Control (LoC) road and it turned turtle and fell in a deep gorge.

“One JCO was killed on the spot while two others sustained injuries,” official reports revealed.

As per the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), the deceased JCO has been identified as Subedar DN Pandey while injured Army personnel have been identified as NK Bharat Jagdale and Vijay Pawar.

Meanwhile, police said that an investigation and legal proceedings into the matter are going on—(KNO)
