JCB seized over illegal mining in Pulwama

Pulwama, Mar 20: Acting against illegal mining activities, Pulwama Police seized one JCB at Nikloora area of Pulwama, while it was found extracting sand illegally. The seized JCB bearing registration No. JK13A-6023 was being driven by Farooq Ahmad Magray S/O Abdul Ahad Magray R/O Nikloora, Pulwama.

In this regard, a case FIR No. 31/2026 under sections 303(2) BNS and 3 PPD Act has been registered at Police Station Litter and investigation has been taken up.

Pulwama Police remains committed to taking strict action against illegal mining and urges the public to report such activities.
