Jammu Police arrested 4 accused evading arrest since decade

Srinagar, May 7: Jammu Police has arrested four accused persons who were evading arrest for over past 20 years.
An official told ANN News that information was received by Akhnoor Police that regarding Gurdeep Singh of Simbal Camp Miran Sahib Jammu who was evading his arrest since 1994.
“A special police teams was constituted under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Varun Jandial. The team led by SHO Akhnoor Hilal Azhar did strenuous efforts and finally arrested the accused from suspected location,” said an official.
In a separate case, information was received at by Gandhi Nagar Police regarding another absconder Ravi kumar of Rampura who was absconding from last 22 years and two other absconders Vikas Sharma of Upper Laxmi Nagar and Rakesh Singh of Sungal Akhnoor who were absconding for the last 9 years.
“On this special police teams under the supervision of SDPO South Sachit Sharma were constituted. The team led by SHO PS Gandhi Nagar Pankaj Sharma did strenuous efforts and finally arrested these accused persons,” said an official told ANN News.
