Srinagar 3 Sep.: The Jammu Kashmir United Movement Sunday convened a significant meeting in the picturesque city of Srinagar. This meeting played a crucial role in charting the party’s path forward and establishing its organizational structure. It also saw the nomination of key office bearers who would play instrumental roles in guiding the party towards its goals.

The JKUM president Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar nominated Ishfaq Gilkar as Chief Spokesperson of the party.

The JKUM president also nominated Advocate Hamid as incharge media cell, Syed Shahnawaz as Incharge Budgam district, Mudasir Niloora as Incharge Pulwama district and Advocate Munib Ansari as Youth district president Srinagar. The party also formed different committees.

On the occasion party president Sheikh Ishfaq Jabbar emphasize the party’s commitment to the principles of democracy development and peace. He highlighted the pressing issues facing the region and outlined the party’s strategies to address them effectively.

Jabbar said the new appointments would work to broaden the party base in Jammu and Kashmir. He stated that the newly appointed office bearers will closely monitor and supervise party affairs besides give representation to their specific genres in respective zones
