Jammu and Kashmir: CRPF man killed in Batmaloo militant attack
SSP Srinagar said a manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers.
CRPF man injured in Batmaloo militant attackA paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) man was killed after militants attacked a force party near Fire and Emergency Services department in Batamaloo area of Kashmir capital Srinagar on Tuesday.
Quoting SSP Srinagar Imtiaz Ismail Parray, GNS news agency reported that the militants opened fire upon CRPF men in Batmaloo, leaving a trooper injured.
However, the injured trooper, identified as Shankar Lal of 23 BN succumbed at a hospital.
A manhunt has been launched to nab the attackers, the SSP said, according to the report.
