ITBP trooper hangs self to death in Srinagar

Srinagar, Mar 23: An Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) trooper on Tuesday ended his life by hanging himself to death at ITBO headquarters located in Zewan area of Kashmir capital Srinagar.

Sources told News Agency Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) that an ITBP trooper identified as Constable Ajeet Kumar, who was currently posted at sector headquarters of ITBP Tuesday allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself to death.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident.

Moreover, an in-house inquiry has been initiated to check the reasons behind which forced the trooper to take this extreme step. (KDC)
