Is Demanding a Hospital a Crime? – Arvind Kejriwal
Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has strongly condemned the arrest of party MLA Mehraj Malik.
In a statement on social media, Kejriwal questioned whether demanding a hospital for the people of one’s constituency is such a grave crime that an elected representative has to be sent to jail for it.
“Mehraj Malik is the lion of the Aam Aadmi Party. He will always remain the voice of the people, fighting for their rights,” Kejriwal said.
He further asserted that no amount of jail, threats, or conspiracies can ever scare any soldier of the Aam Aadmi Party, and that the party will continue to fight for people’s welfare and basic rights.
