Amid rising tensions in the Middle East, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that the Strait of Hormuz remains open for “friendly nations,” including India, China, Russia, Iraq, and Pakistan.

 

 

 

According to recent reports, Iran has clarified that while vessels linked to hostile countries are restricted, non-hostile nations are permitted safe passage through the strategic waterway, which is vital for global oil shipments. (Reuters)

 

 

 

 

The current conflict traces back to escalating tensions between Iran and the United States, along with its regional allies, particularly Israel.
