Intense Clashes At Kulgam Village During CASO

Kulgam: Intense clashes broke out between government forces and youths at Ghat, Khudwani area of South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

The clashes broke out after 1 RR and SOG launched a massive CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) in Ghat, Khudwani area of Kulgam district following the specific inputs about presence of militants in the area.

As per reports youths took to streets and pelted stones on government forces soon after the CASO (Cordon-and-Search-Operation) was launched in the area.

Government forces retaliated with teargas shelling to disperse protesters, which triggered clashes.
