Infiltration bid foiled in Battal Sector, soldier injured
JAMMU (KIMS) — The Indian Army on Tuesday foiled an infiltration attempt at Battal Sector in Krishna Ghati area of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir.
During the exchange of fire between Indian Army and infiltrating militants at around 03:00 am, one Army personnel was injured.
The Indian Army’s Jammu-based White Knight Corps said, “Alert troops foiled an infiltration bid by effectively engaging infiltrating militants with effective fire in the Battal Sector at 0300h. During the exchange of heavy fire, one braveheart has been injured. Operations are continuing.” — (KIMS)
