Incarcerated Er Rashid to join INDIA bloc
Srinagar, June 5: Incarcerated Er Rashid who was declared victorous will join INDIA bloc, sources told ANN News.
Er Rashid has been elected Member of State Assembly multiple times from Langate and he made debut as Member of Parliament after defeating prominent political leaders in Baramulla Parliament Constituency in Loksabha polls 2024.
The incarcerated Awami Ittehad Party chief Engineer Rashid who contested as an independent candidate won from the Baramulla parliament seat, defeating two political heavyweights – former chief minister and National Conference Vice president Omar Abdullah and former minister and Peoples Conference President Sajad Gani Lone.
