Illegal Mining: Pulwama Police Seize one Tipper at Kunjoo; FIR Registered
Pulwama, Jan 11: Acting on a tip-off about illegal transportation of mining activities, Police on Sunday carried out a swift operation at village Kunjoo in Rajpora area of Pulwama district.
During surveillance, one Tipper was found engaged in illegal mining and has been immediately seized
FIR No. 04/2026 has been registered at Police Station Rajpora under Section 303(2) & (3) of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act.
Pulwama Police warned that such environmental offences will not be tolerated and urged the public to cooperate in safeguarding natural resources.
