Hospital building damages in Shopian fire incident
Shopian: The old building of District Hospital Shopian in South Kashmir was gutted in a fire incident during the intervening night of Saturday-Sunday.
Reports said, the fire broke out at around 3:00 am. Soon after the fire broke out a team of fire tenders reached the spot and douse the flames and put fire under control for spreading it to other buildings.
Howeever, there was no loss of life or injury to anyone in the incident.
The patients who were admitted in the Gyne ward and surgical ward were shifted to new Hospital Building.
Meanwhile, a senior police officer also confirmed the fire incident. (KNS)
