Home Ministry Declares Masrat Alam Led MLJK-MA Faction Unlawful Under UAPA
Srinagar, Dec 27 : Home Ministry on Wednesday has declared incarcerated Masrat Alam-led MLJK-MA faction as an unlawful association under the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act (UAPA).
An official told KS that the organisation and its members have been found involved in anti-national and secessionist activities in J&K supporting terrorist activities and inciting people to establish Islamic rule in J&K. “Owing to these charges, the Ministry of Home Affairs under Amit Shah has declared the association as unlawful with immediate effect”, the official said.
