HM Militant Arrested In Bandipora
Bandipora: Police on Monday arrested one militant of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen militant outfit from Ajas area of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
The arrested militant has been identified as Sarfaraz Ahmed Sheer, Son of Mohd Yousuf, a Resident of Koil Muqam in Bandipora district.
As per sources Sarfaraz was active since October 2014.
He was arrested during naka laid down by government forces including Jammu and Kashmir Police and Army’s 13 RR at Ajas village in Bandipora district after having specific inputs about movement of militants in the area.
Forces also recovered arms and ammunition from his procession.
