Hizb Militant module busted in Budgam, 03 associates arrested: Police
Srinagar: Police claimed to have busted a Hizb-ul-mujahideen militant module by arresting three militant associates in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Police said that acting on a specific input Budgam police, army 53 RR and 181 Bn CRPF arrested 03 militant associates from Pakherpora area during naka checking.
The militant associates have been identified as Mehrajdin Kumar son of Gh Ahmad Kumar resident of Pakherpora, Tahir Kumar son of Ab Hamid resident of Pakherpora and Sahil Hurra sok of Muzaffar Hurra resident of Tilsarah.
The statement further stated that following Incriminating material has been recovered from their possession 20 Live Rounds of AK 47, 02 Detonators and 15 Posters of HM.
This group was involved in providing logistic support and shelter to active militants of banned outfit HM. They have been active in the area for last few months.
In this regard case FIR no 83/2020 under relevant sections of UAPA has been registered in Police station Chrar e Charief, and investigation taken up, the statement added.
