Historic Moment: Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles (Sikhli) Hoist Tricolour 14000 Ft On Hilltop At Margan

SRINAGAR — On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day, the Indian Army soldiers posted in Jammu and Kashmir hoisted the tri-colour at several strategic points and mountain passes.
The tricolour was also hoisted at Margan Top, a high mountain pass, located in J&K’s Anantnag district, by 19 Rashtriya Rifles (SIKHLI)

A 13100-feet National Flag has been installed on Sinthan mountain pass by Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles SIKHLI in Jammu & Kashmir.
“This is a historic moment. Another 14000-feet high Tricolour has been installed by the Army at Margan Mountain pass area of south Kashmirs Anantnag district . It will encourage the people, especially the youth to make bond strong also.
Company Commander Major Pankaj unfurled the national flag at Mountains of Sinthan top and Margan top with patriotic fervour and traditional zeal and took the salute and paying tributes to the frontline leaders and heroes of freedom struggle.
He also paid homage to all the martyrs who laid their lives from time to time for safeguarding territorial integrity of state and nation.
