Hiring any Blacklisted Firm by JKSSB against Propriety : Dr Shazad
Jammu, 11/March/2023: All Jammu and Kashmir Border Area Development Conference(JK-BADC), a registered organization working for the welfare of border residents of J & K has requested the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to address genuine grievances of the agitating aspiring youth in Kashmir and Jammu divisions against Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) and appealed him to take all necessary steps to amicably resolve their concerns.
The organization also demanded that the JKSSB should be more transparent in its conduct and for the sake of transparency, the Assets details and property statement of Chairman of JKSSB and all other staff be immediately put on its website.
Dr Shazad Ahmed Malik, Chairman of JK-BADC and former Vice Chancellor called the demand of the aspiring candidates to delist blacklisted firm as ‘absolutely justifiable’ and said that that even an iota of doubt should not be allowed in recruitment process.
He also appealed the LG to direct the Chairman JKSSB to issue a white paper in the whole episode of controversy surrounding the JKSSB regarding hiring a private blacklisted firm for recruitment and public name all those who were involved in this controversial tender finalization of the blacklisted firm.
The BADC Chairperson further demanded that property statement of all the officers of the JKSSB should be made available on JKSSB website so that no doubt remains in the minds of the youth and it would further bring bonhomie between the citizenry and the government.
The former VC also urged that CBI and ACB must carefully scan the role of each JKSSB staff irrespective one’s position in earlier recruitment scams.
