Heat Wave: DSEJ Orders Change Of School Timing In Summer Zone From May 20

JAMMU (KIMS) — In view of the extreme hot weather conditions, the Directorate of School Education, Jammu (DSEJ) on Sunday ordered change in school timing falling in Summer Zone of Jammu division.

According to a communique, “A change in school timing for both Government as well as Private Schools shall come into effect from May 20, 2024 (Monday).”

“All the Government as well as Private (recognized) Schools upto Higher Secondary Level falling in Summer Zone of Jammu Division shall observe school timing as 08:00 AM to 12:00 Noon,” reads the communique.

The decision has been taken in view of the extreme hot weather conditions in Jammu Division of the Union Territory. — (KIMS)
