Heaps of paddy crop gutted in Anantnag village

Anantnag: Heaps of paddy dry grass were gutted in a mysterious blaze at Chee village of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday evening.
The paddy heaps nearly 4000 bundles belonging to Azad Ah Dar, Manzoor Ah Dar, Abdul Aziz Ganie & 3500 bundles of Mohd Ashraf Rather were reduced to ashes, despite desperate attempts by the F&E Service Deptt & locals to douse off the flames.
Meanwhile police reached the spot and assured the locals that anybody found involved in this crime will be dealt strictly.
