Hazratbal Emblem Vandalism an Act of Terror: Waqf Board Chief Demands Arrests, FIR Against MLA
Srinagar, Sept 5 (ANN NEWS):
Condemning the vandalism at the revered Dargah Hazratbal, J&K Waqf Board Chairperson Dr. Darakshan Andrabi termed those who broke the emblem as “terrorists.” She appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and security agencies to ensure strict action and immediate arrests of all culprits involved in the act.
Dr. Andrabi also urged the J&K DGP to file an FIR against the MLA who posted a controversial tweet on the incident. Calling the act “a direct attack on sentiments,” she said such conspiracies will not be tolerated and demanded exemplary punishment for those responsible.
