Handwara Gunfight: Operation Still On, Says Police Chief

Kupwara: Inspector General of police (IGP), Kashmir S P Pani on Saturday said the operation in Handwara was still on.

Addressing reporters at the wreath laying ceremony of the slain cops, Pani said the operation is on and that they will share the details once the operation is over.

He said two militants are believed to be trapped in Babagund village.

Two CRPF troopers, two policemen and a civilian were killed in the gunfight and clashes yesterday.
