Gunfight Breaks Out In Sopore Village; Mobile Internet Services Shut
Sopore: An encounter broke out between government forces and militants at Wadoora Payeen village in Sopore township of Baramulla district in North Kashmir on Tuesday.
Reports said 2 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.
Earlier, government forces had launched cordon and search operation in the village following the specific inputs about presence of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure authorities snapped down mobile internet services in Sopore town.
Firing was going on when reports last came in.
