Gunfight Breaks Out In Anantnag’s Achabal; Mobile Internet Services Shut

Anantnag: A gunfight broke out between government forces and militants at Badoora village in Achabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday morning.

Reports said 2-3 militants are believed to be trapped in this encounter.

Earlier, government forces including 19 RR, SOG and CRPF had launched cordon and search operation in the village following the inputs about presence of militants in the area.

Meanwhile authorities have snapped down mobile internet services in Anantnag district as a precautionary measure.
