Govt Appoints VK Bidhuri To Inquire Gujarat Conman Kiran Patel’s Case

SRINAGAR (KIMS) — The Home Department of Jammu and Kashmir Government on Wednesday appointed Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri as inquiry officer to inquire various aspects related to visits of Gujarat conman Kiran Patel to Kashmir during the past months.

The inquiry officer shall identify the lapses on the part of the Officers/Officials concerned and submit a detailed report within one week.

Sanction is hereby accorded to the appointment of Shri Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, IAS, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, as Inquiry Officer to inquire into the various aspects related to the visits of Shri Kiran Patel to Kashmir during the past months and security arrangements made thereof. The Inquiry Officer shall identify the lapses on the part of the Officers/ Officials concerned and submit a detailed report within one week, reads the order issued by Raj Kumar Goyal (IAS), Financial Commissioner, Additional Chief Secretary to the Government. — (KIMS)
