Government will take every possible step to ensure platforms to the budding artists in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

 

After inaugurating two-day art exhibition ‘Reflections’ here at City Mall, Secretary Tourism as per the news agency said that organizing such events is a wonderful opportunity for budding artists.

Srinagar, Sept 09

Secretary Tourism, Syed Abid Rasheed Shah Saturday said the government will take every possible step to ensure platforms to the budding artists in Jammu and Kashmir.

 

 

“Artists are the intellectual class of our society. They explain the circumstances through their art and divert attention of society to the issue,” Secretary Tourism and Culture J&K Syed Abid Rashid Shah as per KNS said while talking to reporters during an inaugural ceremony of art exhibition held at City Mall, Srinagar.

He said there is a lot of history in Kashmir and Srinagar is the second oldest city in the country after Kashi. “Our recorded history is somewhere on 4000 years and there has been an important role of art here,” he said.

He maintained that the government will do whatever is required for these budding artists to provide them platform and recognize their talent”.(ANN NEWS)
