Governance at Door steps: Er Aijaz inaugurates J&K’s first-ever model CSC Centre at Khonmoh

Srinagar, May 26: Young BJP leader and DDC member for Khonmoh Er Aijaz Hussain today inaugurated Jammu and Kashmir’s first Common Services Centre (CSC) at Khonmoh Srinagar as part of Prime Minister Narendera Modi’s Digital India program.

 

 


In a statement issued here, Er Aijaz said that he rolled out J&K’s first ever model CSC Centre at Khonmoh where locals will get all digital related work done under one roof. He said that the CSC Centre at Khonmoh is first such centre in J&K for which he thanks the Rural Development Department (RDD) and CSC department for choosing Khonmoh.
Explaining the benefits of CSC Centre, Er Aijaz said that the Centre will cater to the needs of people who are in need of golden cards, other health cards, ration cards, Adhaar Cards, labour cards etc which will be provided them within shortest possible time as part of the Digital India Scheme. The young leader said that people need not to go to other offices to get their work done as the Centre will resolve their all issues within a click of a hand. He said that the system adopted by the employees of the Centre will ensure accountability and transparency while as people are free to lodge complaints digitally if their work gets delayed or is not done.

 


Locals of the area thanked Er Aijaz for his hard work and committed towards people and resolution of their issues. Addressing the people, Er Aijaz urged people to visit the CSC centre for getting their work done within the shortest possible time through digital means. He said that people of Khonmoh and adjoining areas including Zewan, Balhama, Zafran Colony can benefit from the Centre where all local issues would be resolved without any delay. He said that the government is committed to ensure transparency and accountability to provide relief to the common people who otherwise had to move from pillar to post to get their basic documentation done. Er Aijaz was accompanied by President Public Welfare Trust Khonmoh Zahoor Ahmed Corporator Lateef Ahmed Mir, officers of RDD and district officials officials of CSE department besides senior citizens and civil society activists and large number of youth.
